I am a London based filmmaker. I was born and raised in Mexico with an Icelandic background. After a BA in film studies in Paris-where I acquired critical and analytical skills- I enrolled in the London Film School in 2011, at the LFS I specialized in cinematography but also thoroughly discovered all aspects of filmmaking. I directed my graduation film, Deserts.
I currently work as a director of photography and camera assistant on independent short films in London. I have directed the photography of over 10 short films. I love the set and everything that happens there, I am an enthusiastic and tireless collaborator as well as a curious observer.
I am interested in cinematography as ways of portraying and materializing thought and emotions.
In addition to my work on the camera department I am currently preparing my debut feature film Borrasca as a writer director.
